About
Bitcoin Security Watcher tracks security issues that could cost Bitcoin users money or put them at risk: wallet and hardware firmware bugs, node vulnerabilities, personal data leaks, and compromised software packages.
What counts as critical?
We publish signals that call for action or awareness today. Audience labels help readers tell whether an alert concerns them.
How it works
Alerts are published automatically. Code collects and deduplicates source reports; a language model assesses the signals. An incorrect assessment can reach the public feed.
See the projects and channels we monitor.
Where to read
English incident pages and RSS contain English artifacts when available. Earlier Russian alerts remain in the Russian feed. The @bitcoin21sec Telegram channel publishes in Russian.
